A finalist in the Bay of Plenty Garden and Art Festival 2022 Pam is self-taught but gains a great deal of inspiration from visits to learn from leading artist Wayne Vickers.

Born and raised in Hamilton, Pam and husband Daryl lived overseas for three years before raising a family in Auckland and Tauranga. Tauranga has been home now for a number of years with Lake Tarawera (within the Rotorua Lakes area) being her happy place.

Pam has dabbled in oils for 20 years on and off, when time has permitted, and enjoys the focus this medium brings to her life.

Feeling fortunate to live in New Zealand, she will often ask ‘how did we all get the lucky Lotto ticket to be born here, and to live in Tauranga?’
